https://www.tcm.rocks/securing-ai-y - Explore some of our AppSec and related offerings in the TCM Security Academy, like our newly released Securing Ai Applications course. Is AppSec a realistic cybersecurity career path when you’re just starting out? The answer is: yes and no. In the latest installment of our Ask a CISO series, TCM Security CISO Alex Tushinsky shares his perspective on breaking into application security and what beginners should focus on first. You don’t necessarily need to become an expert software developer to work in AppSec, but you do need to understand how software works, how vulnerabilities are introduced, and foundational concepts like the OWASP Top 10. So, where does AppSec fit into an entry-level cybersecurity career path? Watch to hear Alex’s take. Have a question you’d like Alex to answer in a future Ask a CISO episode?
